Disabled NHS Directors Network first round table event with executive search firms

Members of the DNDN joined senior members of several leading executive search who work on senior level assignments for NHS organisations to consider how we collectively address the under representation of disabled people on NHS boards.  DNDN is very pleased at the willingness of firms who compete intensely for NHS business to “suspend hostilities” for the purpose of creating a shared understanding of the problems faced both by NHS organisations and search firms in sourcing and supporting disabled candidates, not least because of date protection concerns.  Reflecting the success of the meeting, all parties agreed that a further workshop should take place later in the year.
